Confidential Production Supervisor – Day Shift
A well-established, privately held manufacturing company in the Walworth County area is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing production team on the day shift (12-hour rotational schedule). This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven frontline leader with experience in high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environments who thrives on driving uptime, operational discipline, cleanliness, and consistent results.
The successful candidate will be a visible presence on the production floor, setting clear expectations, developing talent, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily production goals. Key Responsibilities:
This role provides hands-on leadership on the production floor, combining technical understanding with frontline supervision. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting equipment as needed, driving daily performance through real-time metrics, and ensuring proper staffing and material flow to meet production targets. The supervisor coaches and holds technicians accountable, supports onboarding and training, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (GMP/6S or equivalent). Strong use of production data is required to improve uptime, quality, and scrap reduction, in close collaboration with maintenance, quality, and operations leadership.
What You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience
• 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success leading teams in high-volume or continuous operations
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to be hands-on in a production environment, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying temperatures
